Heatmap viewer

General view

The "heatmap viewer" allows you to see the evolution of flows between two VMs over time. This view can be useful to visually determine recurring communications and detect an anomaly: it allows you to easily identify an interesting time slot and to see the network flows in that time slot.

At the top of the view there are two items that allow you to select two VMs. Once a VM is selected in the left element, the right element proposes the VMs that are related to what was selected in the left element.

When two VMs have been selected, a heatmap is displayed, showing the evolution of communication between the two VMs over time

Each square corresponds to a time, by clicking on one of the squares, the corresponding time is marked as selected:

and the details of the flows between the two VMs at that moment are displayed below.
